Triumphantly heading off on year 8 camp after a false start in Term 1, the Year 8 cohort couldn’t contain their excitement! Lake Moogerah provided a wonderful backdrop and exposed our students to a stunning part of Queensland. The camp had begun. 

Activities included archery, mountain bike riding, canoeing and Giants ladder, enabling team building, stretching comfort zones and providing enjoyment and pleasure. Taken from the retreat of base-camp, students hiked to a beautiful camp-out location for one night. 

For some cooking with camping gear proved more difficult than others but the Risotto was delicious. Despite a slightly chilly night, the camp out was an awe-inspiring experience. 

Bringing out the best in each other and themselves, this cohort never cease to amaze us!
