The silica white sand of Whitehaven Beach is as close to the snow as Year 7 managed this year, but the Whitsunday Adventure did not disappoint. The students had an amazing experience playing in God’s creation, exploring the Great Barrier Reef, consolidating friendships and building life skills.

The first day was spent flying up to Proserpine (for some it was their first flight), transferring to Mantra Club Croc to settle into rooms and enjoy a swim in the resort pool. The two amazing day trips involved Ocean Rafting to Whitehaven on one day and a trip with Whitsunday Cruises out to Reef World on the second. Both days allowed the students to snorkel and marvel at the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef. Evening were spent playing

cards and board games as well as making a few new friends amongst the cohort.

We are so grateful that the Year 7s were able to attend a trip this year after their Canberra Trip was cancelled last term.
