On Monday, Week 10, the year 12's embarked on camp to Fraser Island’s Kingfisher Bay Resort. Feeling more like a holiday, the 12s explored K’Gari’s beautiful attractions, a few of these including: Lake McKenzie, where Mr smith relived his childhood with the boys, Eli Creek’s freezing cold waters and the Maheno shipwreck, where Shane had an unfortunate encounter with a hungry leech. Back at camp the competitive spirit was drawn out of everyone during the Class of Origin games, the Trivia Night and, of course, the beloved Form Class Songs. The results were calculated, with 12B happily accepting the win. The Semi-Formal night was enjoyed as the year-level awards were announced. Lots of cheers erupted in the room as the lucky students claimed their title. The grade had an amazing time, not letting the drowsy weather dampen their trip.
