During the Year 10 Careers Excursion, students were given campus tours of QUT, the Griffith University Southbank sites (Film School, College of Art, Conservatorium) and then a tour of TAFE Qld at Southbank. After lunch at the Southbank eateries, the students had an hour and a half to gather information and have conversations at the Brisbane Careers and Employment Expo at the Convention Centre. It was a busy but worthwhile day – we walked 8 km!

This excursion is part of our Careers Education program for the Year 10s this term. It adds to the sparking of conversations and ideas around career possibilities and interests for the students.
