Year 10 Boys camp took place on Sat 26th to Tues 29th March. It’s been said that the World Heritage listed National Park surrounding Mt Barney has its own climate. This year the boys experienced this with some very wet weather at the Park. This didn’t dampen the enthusiasm, however, with a wonderful yet challenging time experienced by all who braved the wilds.
Mt Barney lodge was flooded in by the Tuesday and the boys had to hike out to be picked up by the bus. Some good memories forged right there. The base camp crew (pictured above) were picked up the following day, while Mr Boyce and Mr Beier had to remain until Thursday before floods receded and they could drive out.
