On August 26 & 27, Year One classes visited the Toohey Forest Educational Centre to consolidate our learning about minibeasts.
It was an amazing day of discovery as we assisted Detective ‘Search-a-lot’ learn about and locate insects and arachnids.
We enjoyed a ‘minibeast’ hunt around the forest and collected lots of different insects and spiders. We enjoyed using the microscope to look closely at the features of these minibeasts. It was a fun day of learning and discovery of God’s wonderful creation!
