This year, our Administration team has welcomed three new staff members – Mrs Jennie Brown, Mrs Ruth Millar and Mrs Emma Packer, and while Mrs Linda Hobson is not new to the team, she is new to the position of Junior School Secretary.

Jennie has taken on the position of Senior School Secretary based in our CINC building, following Linda Hobson’s move to serve our younger students as Junior School Secretary.  Jennie brings exceptional administration skills to our team after working for over 20 years within the Salvation Army. Her bubbly, positive, can-do personality is enjoyed by our Secondary school staff and our Senior School students alike.  Jennie also has extensive experience in Event planning – a skill which will be widely appreciated at Northside.  When away from work, Jennie loves going to the movies and is a Marvel movie aficionado.

Ruth has joined us as our College Administration Assistant – Health after spending several years in similar roles at Windsor State School.  If your child has been to the Health room in the last few months, they will have experienced Ruth’s excellent professional care and kind, gentle heart.  She has an amazing ability to know individual student’s needs whilst very often caring for a large number of students at the same time.  When away from work, Ruth and her family enjoy glamping in their self-renovated 1978 caravan. 

Emma is our newest team member, having joined us in August and is quickly becoming ‘part of the furniture’ and a much loved staff member.  Emma who has worked with the Salvation Army Youth Outreach Service for many years joins us as our Middle School Secretary. She comes with a rich understanding of both education and the needs of our young people. Her tender heart coupled with her very calm manner have already been appreciated by staff and students in Middle School. Emma, her husband and two young daughters are in the process of renovating a 1975 caravan.

Many of you will know Linda Hobson through her roles over many years as a Teacher Aide, Student Receptionist or more recently as our Senior School Secretary.  Linda brings her broad experience to the team in Junior School, with her friendly and caring personality.  Linda is someone who will always go the extra mile to serve and care for members of our community and Junior School are blessed to have her as part of their team.  Linda is an avid reader and also loves time spent with family or in the garden.
