The 2019 Northside Senior School Sport Awards was an evening of honouring and celebrating the incredible God-given sporting talent and hardworking athletes here at Northside. The gala-style event saw students seated with their teams and fellow awardees in our Auditorium, with parents and families given a birds-eye-view from the balcony.

There were over 140 students receiving awards for a variety of remarkable achievements, including representatives from district teams, state, Met North and CSSAQ, winning teams from Netball, Football (Soccer) and Basketball - and of course, the individual Gold Medallion Winners, and the Sportswoman and Sportsman of the Year.

Our students were honored well and we feel truly blessed to provide sporting opportunities for these young men and women. A special thanks to our guest speaker – Jeremy Kendle (professional basketball player) who shared on adversity, overcoming the setbacks and using sport to promote the Gospel. We would also like to thanks the outgoing Sports Captains Kasey F. and Gresham K. for conducting the evening & welcoming our incoming Sports Captains Lara B. and Gabriel L.

Thanks to all that attended the evening. We are excited to take sport at Northside to the next level in 2020!
