The first assembly of the year for our Secondary Schools welcomed new and returning students, congratulated alumni achievements, and gave space for prayer, worship and reflection.
College Principal Leighton Kuss shared a message of encouragement to the students, to be people who leave a good and Godly imprint on all those they impact.
Head of Teaching and Learning, Mrs Linda George, congratulated our 2020 cohorts final ATAR results, which included:
- 22 students achieving an ATAR of 90 or above (Top 10% QLD)
- 11 students achieving an ATAR of 95 or above (Top 5% QLD)
- Top 4 student ATARs were equivalent to OP2
- 66/67 students applying to QTAC have been made an offer. 43 were offered their first preference
- 41 VET qualifications
- 2 school-based apprenticeships & traineeships
Northside Christian College's Dux was awarded to Hannah Basson, for the highest academic achievement.
Proxime Accesit (second highest) was tied, and awarded to both Joelle Ting and Malaika Vaz.
