Since 1985, when our founders established the first class of then Northside Christian Community School, families have chosen to send their children and grandchildren to Northside because they see the value in having their children educated in a Christ-centred environment where the focus is on developing Christian character alongside an excellent education.
We are daily committed to our mission, which is: To make disciples of Jesus Christ, educated and equipped for any future. With this in mind, we are embarking on our next two campus development projects to provide the best opportunities for our students.
Junior School Parklands - a new heart for the Junior School
We are excited to announce the Junior School Parklands project, which will bring a new heart to Junior School by reclaiming an additional 1200 square metres of land between the A and B blocks (PDF map).
In a world heavily dominated by technology, we want to create a purpose-designed outdoor space for our students. The new Parklands project will provide opportunities for our students to play, study, socialise, practice and collaborate, benefitting them mentally, physically and academically.
Outdoor play has been proven to enhance mental health and performance as well as decrease hyperactivity and anxiety. Playing outside provides opportunities for hands-on learning, which increases creativity and creates new opportunities for imagination and engagement.
Whether students enjoy exploring, reading, music, sport or building friendships, the new Parklands will have opportunities for all.

Undercover Sporting facilities, study centre and more - Stage 3 Secondary campus
Stage 3 of the Centre for Innovation and Creativity (CINC) will replace the existing demountable classrooms with a state-of-the-art extension. Pending government support, we aim to begin construction during 2022.
This next stage of the project will include the much anticipated undercover sporting facilities, including a designated gym and sports court with collapsible event seating for 350, allowing our students to further their development as athletes with access to high-quality facilities on campus. From fitness, strength and conditioning equipment to full-size courts for basketball/volleyball/netball/futsal, the project will advance student sporting opportunities from P-12.
As we are preparing our students for life beyond Secondary School, the building will include university-style independent learning spaces, flexible classrooms, break out spaces, study booths and independent study nooks, a kitchenette, conference rooms, and areas for students to socialise.
