We are so proud of the Junior School choirs - Piccolos (Years 3 and 4) and Vivace Voices (Years 4 - 6) who competed in the Queensland Youth Music Awards.

Piccolos Take Gold!

The Piccolos, our Lower Junior School choir, continued Northside’s winning tradition at the Queensland Youth Music Awards. Under the leadership of Mrs Cheel they performed “Listen to the Wind” and “Clever Chameleon” to earn a Gold Award and first place. Well done Piccolos!

Vivace Voices

Vivace Voices competed against some of Brisbane’s best Junior School choirs at the Queensland Youth Music Awards, held at St Peter’s Lutheran College, Indooroopilly. The students performed beautifully and were awarded the Harley Mead Encouragement Award, which is “presented to a choir who has shown dedication to creating beautiful music by working together with enthusiasm at QYMA 2017”.
