Saturday night 20th October was undoubtedly the most glamorous event of the year, as the Class of 2018 celebrated their much anticipated formal at the Brisbane Convention and Entertainment Centre. The students arrived to the cheers of the NCC paparazzi, emerging from a range of vehicles from Kombis to convertible Ferraris. Many of the students were unrecognisable as they traded their uniforms for suits and ball gowns for a night of glamour and celebration.
The evening was punctuated with some amazing entertainment by the students. In a Northside tradition, the parent and student dance got everybody up on the dance floor, where most of the students stayed to dance the night away after they bid their parents farewell.
Many thanks to the wonderful team of Year 11 students who helped decorate the room and tables for their peers.
May God's Love Abound to All Families:
Father, we thank you for each and every Year 12 young man and young woman.
As they complete their school life in the next few weeks, we want to affirm each of them and bless them.
We say that each one is loved and thank you that you care for each of them deeply.
We ask your blessing upon them and pray your favour as they move into the next steps of their lives.
We pray for every Year 12 family, that:
The Lord (will) bless you and keep you; the Lord (will) make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord (will) turn his face toward you and give you peace. (Numbers 6: 24-26)
With love and prayers
