Every year, as part of our Career Education program, Northside alumni present their career journeys to the Year 10 cohort.

In 2020, Holly Neilson ( Calss of 2013) spoke of her 4+ year journey from part-time artist through to full-fledged entrepreneur, with her illustration business Paper Hands. Holly encouraged students to take small, thoughtful risks as they pursue their careers.

Dane Erasmus (Class of 2016) shared how she balances a combination of working 30 hours a week whilst completing her full-time business degree. Dane encouraged students to find what works for their own unique passions and schedule.

What an amazing opportunity for our students to engage with alumni who are forging their careers, and who provided thoughtful responses to their questions.
