We hope that you have had a time of peace, restoration, fun and perhaps even some travel as families over this holiday period that is rapidly coming to an end.
We are looking forwarding to welcoming all of our Middle School students back to school for the 2021 school year. Particularly, our Year 7 students and students new to the College this year will have an intentional focus. We pray for God’s hand to be on this year and know that His sovereignty prevails in our College, our homes and beyond.
Communication surrounding reminders for the Year 7 Orientation, Orientation programs for Year 8 and Year 9 students new to the College this year, as well as our Year 9 leadership activities, will be communicated via Year Level Coordinators and Middle School Reception early next week.
Please ensure that in the week leading up to the start of the school year that you check over the uniform and hair policies to ensure that shoe purchases and haircuts etc. are compliant with College policies. Also, please note that as per our updated digital policy that smart watches are to be treated in the same way as mobile phones from here on in, that is, they are to be switched off and placed in lockers throughout the school day.
We are looking forward to partnering with you either for the first time or once again for the school year ahead. We appreciate your prayers for us as a College as we invest in the lives of our students and your children in this crucial stage of development. Please know that your prayers are also reciprocated.
Blessings,
Fiona Long
Head of Middle School
