North District Sport Reps:

During Term One, a number of students from Years 5 – 7 have attended North District Sport trials for their chosen team sport. Congratulations to the following students who have been selected in district teams and will attend upcoming Metropolitan North Carnivals:

• Caro Smit 6N – Basketball
• Annie Smith 7B – Netball
• Levi Simmons 7C – AFL and Basketball
• Genevieve Giavon 7A – Football (Soccer)

Regional Swimming Carnival:

Following on from some great performances at the North District Swimming Carnival, four students from Year 5 attended the Metropolitan North Championships on Tuesday 21 February. Congratulations to all students and in particular Jaclyn Barclay (5C) who was selected in the Met North Team for the 50m Back (3rd) and 100m Back (2nd) events. She will now compete at the State Championships later in March.

Junior School Cross Country

On Tuesday 28 March, students from Years 3 – 6 will battle it out at the annual Cross Country Carnival at Teralba Park, Mitchelton. The day begins at 9:00am with final competitors due across the line at 10:30am.
