The College has made access available for parents to the Internet Safe Training course until September 2017. Internet Safe Training is the work of former detective Brett Lee who worked as a Queensland police officer for 22 years, 16 of which as a detective in the field of child exploitation. Brett has an international platform as a speaker and educator in the field of internet safety. He spoke to Northside's secondary students in late 2016.

The online parent courses address needs of children in four age groups. For best results, parents complete the course and then talk with their children about the content.
