Secondary School at Northside celebrated Friendship Day on Friday, 12 February during lunchtime, with live performances, sausage sizzle, bake sale and fundraising through free dress.

Sophia (College Vice Captain - Missions) shared with her peers this week on the topic of friendship:

"Friendship is one of the most special gifts we may have on earth. When we take time in our everyday life to invest in the lives of others we get the gift of friendship.

At Northside we have been so blessed to have the opportunity to create relationships with people both here today and internationally with the people sitting near you and the children we sponsor as grades. Love others knows no bounds and our challenge is to love others the way God loves you."

The day was a special way to celebrate these friendships, and spend a relaxed lunch time with their peers.
