Family Administration Day 2026
8:00 am - 4 pm Wednesday, 21 January
We extend a special invitation to all new Northside families to join us for Family Administration Day.
Existing Northside families are also welcome to attend Family Administration Day, but it is not mandatory as all services can be completed online.
At Family Administration Day, you can speak to service staff (Bus, Music, OSHC, Fees, Library) and collect textbooks, Chromebooks and collect pre-ordered uniforms.

New Student Orientations and First Day of School 2026
Find all the key dates, times, and details you’ll need for New Student Orientations and the first day of school to ensure a smooth start to 2026.
Prep Start Dates
The first week of school is a precious and important time for our new Prep students as they begin their learning journey at Northside.
To support a gentle and positive start, Prep students will attend on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (28 January - 30 January 8:30 am–2:45 pm) during the first week.
These days will focus on a transition and play-infused learning program, allowing children to build confidence, form friendships, and become familiar with their teachers, classrooms, and daily routines in a calm and nurturing way as they settle into school life for 2026.
Years 1 - 6
New Student Orientation – Tuesday, 27 January
All new students in Years 1–6 are required to attend a short orientation from 8:30 am to 10:30 am.
Uniform: Full formal uniform (first week)
Where: Parklands - A and B blocks (Captains will be there to welcome)
Further details will be provided closer to the date.
First Day of School – Wednesday, 28 January
All students in Years 1–6 (new and returning) will commence a full day of classes from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.

Year 7 Orientation – Tuesday, 27 January

Welcome back to all Year 10 and 11 students as we begin Term 1 together! Please arrive by 8:30 am.

Year 11: Drop bags at the CINC ground-level lockers, then head to the Lecture Theatre for your Year Level Assembly.

Year 10: Drop bags at your C Block lockers, then make your way to the College Hall for your welcome session.
Year 12
First Day of 2026 – Tuesday, 27 January
Welcome to your final year, Class of 2026!
Start your morning with coffee and muffins in the CINC Kitchen from 8:00 am, then at 8:30 am follow your Monday timetable as listed on TASS.
We’re looking forward to a fantastic year ahead — let’s make 2026 one to remember!

Please review all information in Parent Lounge/Orbit App is correct and up to date for you and each child in the following areas:
- Address and Contact Details
- Emergency Contacts (You will find it in Address Details by scrolling across the top bar)
- Student Medical
- Occupation/MCEECDYA details for government reporting (You will find it in Student > General Details > MCEECDYA Details)
If your residential status/visa has recently changed, please advise the College by emailing parentlounge@northside.qld.edu.au.
New to Northside families
Parents will receive an email from Northside IT Helpdesk with single sign-in login details for Parent Lounge/Orbit App in January.
Blue Card Update for Volunteers
From 2026, all volunteers at Northside Christian College will require a Blue Card under updates to Queensland’s Working with Children Act 2000.
We encourage parents to apply now for a free volunteer Blue Card through Blue Card Services. Once approved, please email a copy of your card and your date of birth to volunteers@northside.qld.edu.au so it can be linked to the College.
If you already hold a Blue Card, please email your details for linking.
