Family Administration Day 2025
8 am - 4 pm Wednesday, 22 January
We extend a special invitation to all new Northside families to join us for Family Administration Day. Existing Northside families are also welcome to attend Family Administration Day, but it is not mandatory as all services can be completed online. At Family Administration Day, you can speak to service staff (Bus, Music, OSHC, Fees, Library), see your child's class, and collect textbooks, Chromebooks and pre-ordered uniforms.
What to bring:
- Medical Action Plan (if applicable)
- Completed Computer Permission forms (Secondary students and parents)
- Bag for carrying heavy textbooks (Secondary students)

Prep 2025
Prep Connect Event
Friday, 24 January 2025, from 8:00 - 9:30 am at the Prep Building. All Prep families are warmly invited to connect with their Prep teacher and visit their classroom for 2025 to begin their journey at Prep at Northside. Further details will be provided closer to the date.
Official Prep start: Group 1
- Tuesday, 28 January 2025, from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm. Students will need a packed morning tea but leave at lunchtime.
- Thursday, 30 January 2025, from 8:30 am – 2:45 pm. Students will need a packed morning tea and lunch.
Group 2
- Wednesday, 29 January 2025, from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm. Students will need a packed morning tea but leave at lunchtime.
- Friday, 31 January 2025, from 8:30 am – 2:45 pm. Students will need a packed morning tea and lunch.
Year 1 - 6 New Student Orientation
All new students must attend a short orientation between 8:30 am and 10:30 am on Tuesday, 28 January 2025. Students must attend in a full formal uniform.
Year 1 - 6 First Day of School 2025
All students in Years 1-6, new and existing, will commence a full day of classes on Wednesday, 29 January, from 8:30 am - 3:00 pm.
Please note that the College will be closed for the Christmas holidays from 6 December 2024 - 2 January 2025.
Year 7 Orientation
8:30 am - 10:30 am on Tuesday, 28 January 2025, at the Lecture Theatre. Students must wear a formal uniform. Pick up from the Middle School Courtyard.
Year 8 and 9 new student Orientation
8:30 am - 10:30 am on Tuesday, 28 January 2025, at the Middle School Courtyard. All new Year 8 and Year 9 students are to attend orientation. Students must wear a formal uniform. Pick up at 10:30 am.
Years 7-9 First Day of School
8:30 am Wednesday, 29 January 2025, at the Church Auditorium. All new and existing students will commence a full day of classes.
Year 10 & 11 new student Orientation
8:30 am - 10:30 am, Tuesday, 28 January 2025, at Music Room 2 in the CINC building. Students must wear formal school uniforms.
Years 10-11 First Day of School
Wednesday, 29 January 2025, at 8.30 am, Year 10, College Hall, Year 111 Lecture Theatre. Year 11 students can take their bags to the CINC lockers on the ground level and then proceed to the Lecture Theatre for a Year Level Assembly. Year 10 students can take their bags to the C block lockers and then go to College Hall.
Years 12 First Day of School
Tuesday, 28 January 2025, 8 am - 8:30 am at the CINC Kitchen.
