Terms and Conditions
Tuition fees
These fees are to cover the general costs of educating students, and is based on the resources required for the respective school levels.
Fees and levies for the year are charged in February and are to be paid either annually, monthly or fortnightly from February to November.
Methods of payment
Annual payment in advance by 28 February (5% discount on tuition and general levies).
Monthly/fortnightly by any of the following methods:
- Direct Debit (Compulsory for all new families)
- Cash/Cheque*
- Credit Card / Debit Card*
- Bank transfer/Internet*
Notice of Withdrawal
One months notice in writing to the Enrolments Office is required (prior to the end of a term) of a students withdrawal. One months fees will be charged in lieu of notice.
Levies
These are the costs that are incurred over and above those areas covered by the fees, and include sport, excursions, accident insurance, textbooks, etc.
Working bee levy
Each family will be charged an annual compulsory Working Bee Levy of $100 per annum. This will be invoiced with the annual fees. Some or all of this amount will be returned or rolled over to the next year if parents attend the set working bees or provide other significant service to the college.
Building fund contribution
Building Levy - Non Tax Deductable
Each family will be charged an Annual Compulsory Building Levy which is not tax deductible.
Bus fees
These are charged as part of your annual fees in February and paid as part of your annual or monthly accounts. Any adjustments will be credited to your account.
Subject selection changes
A $50 fee for Years 11 and 12 and $30 for Year 10 will be charged for any subject selection changes that occur after school commences each year.
Distance education
An annual fee per subject is payable for any students who enrol in a Distance Education subject. This is a charge reviewed annually by Education Queensland, and can be provided upon request.
Technology Levy
Each student from year 4 to year 12 will be charged an annual Technology Levy to cover the cost of Chromebooks (as outlined on the reverse page).
Chromebooks will be replaced on a three year cycle. An administration fee of $25 is payable on any Chromebook Accidental Damage insurance claim.
